Women
Alessia Orro was born on 18 July 1998 in Oristano. Orro made her Serie A1 debut in 2015 with Club Italia.
From 2017 to 2020, Alessia moved to UYBA Busto Arsizio; from 2020 to the present, she moved to Vero Volley Monza, which changed its name to Vero Volley Milano this year.
In 2019 with UYBA Busto Arsizio, she won the CEV Cup, a competition she won again in 2021 but with the jersey of Monza.
In 2022, Orro won the Volleyball Nations League and a bronze medal at the World Championships. She participated in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with Italy and won the silver medal at the Grand Prix in 2017.
In 2021 she won the gold medal at the European Championships.

• Where is your favourite place in the world? Narbolia, the small village where I grew up in Sardinia

• Who is your hero? I have no heroes
• What cheers you up? My family
• Why do you play Volleyball? Because I like the game and enjoy playing it
• Why is your shirt number what it is? It is similar to my last name (Otto- Orro)
• Who is your favourite Volleyball player to watch? Luciano De Cecco
• Which team do you love playing against? Conegliano and, as per a National Team, Serbia
• Who will win EuroVolley 2021? Italy?
