It was like a cold shower for Croatia, with some amazing defensive actions from their libero Rene SAIN and really solid game in all other elements they took this set.

Day 5 Recap

Play

"We made many mistakes during the whole match, and we didn't manage to focus on our game. I have to study this game tomorrow, and replay the critical situations, because we played very bad tonight. They were waiting for our serves at the end of the court, and we were not able to change anything in our serve. Now, we have to calm down, and try to find solutions as soon as possible."

Luciano PEDULLA
head coach of Romania

Lucija MLINAR, outside spiker of Croatia:

"I'm really happy with the win, because Romania is this tournament's big surprise for me. They have a good team, they play very nice volleyball. They don't have big stars but the team is so compact. They fight good. We expected very hard game but we were really focused."
