Highlights
Overview
Defending EuroVolley champions in their last game of pool phase face the only winless team in Pool A - Greece. Serbia, currently ranked 2nd in the standings, recorded three wins so far and suffered one defeat in the clash against the hosts, losing after a thrilling five-setter. On Monday, playing against Portugal (3-1), coach Slobodan Kovac gave an opportunity to play to almost all his players, rotating with the squad. We can expect that he might repeat this move. On the other side, Greece is still seeking their chance to earn a win, especially that so far only Poland and Serbia secured their spots in the eight finals and all four teams are still in the quest for two remaining tickets to the next phase.

Match Report
Serbia find form when it matters in tie-break
Article
Aleksandar Atanasijevic""We know that if you want to win the match at EuroVolley you have to suffer. Even Poland lost one set in the match against Greece. Greece is a good team, they didn't make too many mistakes. Maybe we were a bit too relaxed and for our opponents the next match is in or out, but now we have to think about the next four days how we can improve our game."

Athanasios Protopsaltis"It was a very hard battle against European champions, so for us it was the best opportunity to see if we are able to reach this level. It was very important for us that we won two sets and we got one point. This point brings us hope ahead of tomorrow's match against Portugal."
