Lucrecia Castellano"It was a very emotional game. We started well, then we hesitated a bit, but we managed to stabilize in the end and win. We still have a chance to advance. We have matches with strong opponents, but the chances remain."
Middle blocker, Spain
Anthi Vasilantonaki“Today we didn’t show our best performance. Spain played much better than in the two qualifying matches especially in block and reception. In the tiebreak at 8-3 our reception broke down, we couldn’t organize a single attack. It doesn’t matter how many points I’ve scored, team success is above all. We are tired now but even if our bodies won’t, our heads will be strong tomorrow against Czech Republic.”
