Louise Schoelzel“It wasn’t easy to keep the high level all of the time but it was a fun match and I’m happy we won it in three sets. We missed a few points in the third set, some stupid things happened but we overcame them. Our hope is to progress at least to the quarterfinals and from there why not go even further?”
Middle blocker, Germany
Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez“We didn`t start with our usual line-up, but I think the girls did a good job. Germany is playing very well, they beat Bulgaria 3:2. In the end what happened in the third set pretty much summarizes all of our tournament – at 22-22 we made a serve mistake and we lost 22-25. Basically – we made a lot of mistakes in the most important moments. We are leaving but the organization of the tournament is very good. Plovdiv did a great job.”
