Overview
Both teams are still in quest for a spot in the next round and both are very motivated to go to Belgrade. Belarus earned emphatic win over Switzerland on Monday and hope to stay on the right track. Especially that they can count on Hanna Klimets, who contributed in this win with 23 points (only in 3 sets!). While Slovakia hopes to recover after their three defeats to Croatia, Hungary and Italy. The team led by Marco Fenoglio won one set in the clash against Italy on Monday, and visible improved their game, so we can expect a tough battle.

Romana Kriskova“We are incredibly happy with this victory, as we fought with all our hearts, especially in the fourth set where we came from behind. Yesterday we took a set from Italy and that was definitely a boost of confidence and courage for us. We still have another match to play and we will do everything we can to make it to the next round.”
Player of Slovakia
Laura Künzler“We were not on our top level. I do not know if it was in the head or in the body. We have many young players, who do not have international experience and in the important moments, we made mistakes and not points. It is very disappointing. We will now play against Italy and I think it is a game to enjoy. For us being here is already a good achievement, but we had higher goals. We have to forget about this game and see what the future holds for us.”
